Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
